     On behalf of the men and women of the Town of Ridgeland Fire Department I would like to thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our Department. Our personnel are committed to service to the community.

     The Town of Ridgeland Fire Department mission is to be a leading fire service organization by;

About Us
         The Town of Ridgeland Fire Department is located in Ridgeland S.C. The department is responsible for fire protection inside the incorporated areas of Ridgeland and is contracted by Jasper County to provide fire protection to the unincorporated areas within five miles of the Town of Ridgeland Fire Department. Engine 1

        We have one station which is located in downtown Ridgeland which houses three engines, one tanker and a medium duty rescue unit.  Our current staffing is three crews which consist of a Lieutenant, Senior Firefighter and a Driver Operator which rotate on a 24/48 rotation.  Our admin staff consist consist of a Chief and a Fire Marshal.  We are also supplemented by eight volunteer firefighters.

       Our current ISO rating is a class 4/9.  Information can be obtained by contacting the department at 843-726-7522.

Entry Fee: $ 25.00 with Registration received by April 1, $ 30.00 by April 15, $ 35.00 on race day

Student Rate 13-17 Year Olds $ 15 by April 1, $ 25.00 after April 1

12 years and under can run for free, $ 15.00 if they would like a T-Shirt by April 1

T-Shirt included in Entry Fee if registered by April 1

 

Start Time: 8:30a.m. on Saturday April 26, 2014

 

Registration: Advance registration recommended by April 1 (Guarantee T-Shirt), Race Day registration will take place between 7:30-8:15a.m. at Ridgeland Fire Department.

 

Course: Scenic, mostly flat paved run through Downtown Ridgeland S.C.

 

Awards: Ceremony following race. Male and Female by age groups, Plus overall Male and Female

 

Payments: Checks made payable to “JCBDSN Resource Foundation” (Can be dropped at the JCBDSN 1512 Grays Highway or Ridgeland Fire Department 49 South Railroad Avenue)

Directions to Ridgeland Fire Department: From Interstate 95 Exit 21 Drive West ½ mile on Main Street,  Turn left on Railroad Avenue. The station will be on the right. Parking will be provided in the lot behind D&R Autobrokers located directly behind the station on Railroad Avenue.

 

 

 

This 5k Run/Walk Benefits the Resource Foundation and will take place RAIN or SHINE!!

 

 

The Resource Foundation was organized June 28, 1998 for the purpose of raising support and funding for the programs and services provided by Jasper County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs (JCBDSN). These programs supplement the services JCBDSN provides to over 180 citizens with life long disabilities and special needs in Jasper County. The Foundation is a not for profit corporation with a 501-c3 tax exempt status.
